4. THE VALUE OF THE TEN COMMANDMENTS
The package of the Ten Commandments is the crown jewel of the Torah for the Jews and the Bible meant for the Christianity. It has significant moral value, with some similarities with the Quran. In particular, the ruling against adultery in commandment # 7 deserves special praise. It shows that God, the founder of all monotheistic religions has long been against adultery on account of its obscenity. However, this ruling has also been almost forgotten to those whom it is meant for. In the target society, there is not enough focus on the prohibition of adultery. Few people among them know or let others know about it. Still fewer are those who would like to practice it despite knowing, because this directly goes against their culture of pleasure. As a result, you will see a relatively high rate of nudity, adultery, rape, teen age pregnancy, divorce and similar social problems in these permissive societies. If, otherwise, more people knew and practiced these Commandments, the society could be relieved of these social vices, much to their wellbeing.
